Mangia Rewards ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide when you create an account (name, email, password), when you use our app (location data for nearby restaurant discovery, offer redemption history), and automatically (device/browser type, IP address, usage analytics).

2. How We Use It

We use your information to provide and improve the Mangia service, process subscription payments via Stripe, send transactional emails (password resets, welcome messages), and surface relevant partner restaurants near you. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Location Data

Our mobile app requests location permission to show nearby partner restaurants. Location data is used only for this purpose and is not stored beyond each session unless you explicitly save preferences.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Stripe for payment processing, AWS S3 for image storage, Mailgun for transactional email, and Google Maps for location features. Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account data while your account is active. To request deletion, email hello@mangiarewards.com.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies required for authentication and CSRF protection. We do not use tracking cookies or ad-targeting cookies.
